I think We are all born Creative.. We are given a box of crayons in the kindergarten. Then we hit puberty… the crayons are taken away and replaced with Dry, Uninspiring Books on Algebra, History and Trigonometry. With sands of time the world around us keeps changing without an iota of realisation…and we keep following the trail.
Being hit with the creative bug again was just a wee voice telling me…”I would like my crayons back please”☺️.
Art is like Freedom to me….being able to bend things, what most people see as a straight line. It makes me breathe different kind of happiness🤩.
Here is The Art of Quilling ….that I learnt few years back.. lots of time in hand with the changed Scenario…managed to Revive, Refresh and Renew both my skill and the fond memories.
Now what is Quilling for those who aren’t aware of the Art….?
Quilling or Paper Filigree is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are… rolled, shaped, looped, curled, twisted, glued together or manipulated to create shapes which make up designs to decorate greetings cards, pictures, boxes, eggs, and to make models, jewelry, mobiles etc.
The post has some Envelopes that I decorated using the paper filigree….these Envelopes are Hand crafted too.
